  • Body of young woman found in Longford

    17:35 Gardaí in Longford are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman after her body was discovered early this morning. According to a garda spokesman the body was found in a laneway off Kilashee Street. The area has been sealed off and a team from the Garda Technical Bureau are en scene. A post mortem examination will be carried out later today to establish the cause of death.
