Wed 01 Jan 2007Visits to Ireland surged in OctoberA surge in tourists from Europe saw the number of overseas visitors to Ireland last October increase by 33,400 compared with the same period the previous year.Figures released by the Central Statistics Office this morning showed that there were 644,500 overseas trips to Ireland.
