Pope Benedict XVI, in his homily in St Peter's Basilica during Mass this morning, said peace can only be achieved if individuals' human rights are respected. In a statement, Mr Ahern said Ireland fully supported the pope's message of placing human dignity at the centre of the world's concerns.
