Fri 11 Nov 2006Murdered women commemoratedNearly  half of all resolved cases of female homicide were committed by the partner or ex-partner of the victim, Women's Aid said today.With 125 women murdered in Ireland over the last  ten years - 80 in their own homes - the director of Women's Aid, Margaret Martin, said that the seriousness of the levels of violence against women could not be over-emphasised.
