Wed 01 Jan 2002Dublin city metro project gets go-aheadThe Government has given the go-ahead for plans to build a metro system around Dublin.At a meeting with Government ministers today, the newly created Rail Procurement Agency (RPA) has been given permission to establish a competition with a view to appointing a company that will build, operate and finance the new system.
