    20:13 Postal workers in Northern Ireland decided tonight not to return to work until the death threat hanging over them is lifted. They made the decision following the funeral of colleague Daniel McColgan who was shot dead at the weekend. Leaders of the Communication Workers Union met after the funeral and decided that no deliveries should be made while there was still a chance of attack.
