Tue 08 Aug 2001Sinn Fein finds poll on North 'encouraging'Sinn Féin today said that "nothing short of Irish unity and independence will suffice" after a poll suggested 41 per cent of Britons believed the North should be reunified with the Republic.The poll shows that just 26% of people questioned in Britain believed Northern Ireland should remain in the UK.
