It's all about to get very sci-fi in the Samuel Beckett Theatre as Company Philip Connaughton gets you thinking about life on Mars through the medium of dance.

It's all about to get very sci-fi in the Samuel Beckett Theatre as Company Philip Connaughton gets you thinking about life on Mars through the medium of dance.

Choreographer and performer Connaughton is bringing the team from his award-winning production Tardigrade back together to explore just what happens on the dark side of the moon.

Inspired by UFO sighting reports made to the French Space Agency, Philip and his fellow dancers, including Zoe Bernabeu and Lucia Kickham, respond through movement to the doubts and grey matter inherent in UFO sightings.

Drama will be heightened as the dancers share a stage with composer Michael Gallen and soprano Kim Sheehan, creating an opera out of the melodrama of space, galaxies, infinity and the unknown.

Your own fear of the unidentified - the mysterious and impossible crop circles or flying objects you've always laughed off - will come to the fore during this thought-provoking and evocative dance piece at the Samuel Beckett Theatre.
