Mary's and Belvedere go top

AIB All-Ireland League:St Mary¿s College went top of the AIB All-Ireland Division One A with a bonus-point win over Clontarf at Templeville Road this afternoon, while Old Belvedere also scored 24 points in their match against UCC to move to the summit of Divisions One B.

Two tries from Robin Copeland and one apiece for Darragh Fanning and Ronan Doherty were secured a convincing 24-7 win for Mary¿s over Clontarf, for whom Sean Carey touched down.

At Musgrave Park, the Munster derby between Dolphin and Cork Con ended in a 13-12 defeat for the latter after the homeside were given a penalty try that was converted by Barry Keeshan, who also notched another thee points.

An Andrew Conway try helped Blackrock College to an 8-3 win over UL Bohemians.

In Division One B, Ballymena beat Ballynahinch 15-13 at Eaton Park thanks to five Rory Drysdale penalties and despite a try, conversion and two penalties from Ryan Bambry.

Galwegians beat Dungannon by the same score with tries from Mark Butler, Tiernan O¿Halloran and Jarleth Naughton.

There were six bonus point wins in a high-scoring Saturday in Division Two and Navan made a winning return to Division Three.
