Man (24) dies in Co Offaly crash
A 24-year-old man has died following a traffic collision in Co Offaly yesterday evening.
The incident occurred on the Roscrea to Kinnitty Road near Kinnitty, at about 6.50pm.
The man was killed when his motorcycle collided with a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the car was taken to Tullamore General Hospital, but was not thought to be seriously injured.
The road at the scene remains closed this morning while forensic collision investigators carry out a technical examination in the area.
