Reilly And Weaver Join Helms Comedy

John C Reilly and Sigourney Weaver will join Ed Helms is his first starring role, Cesar Rapids. According to Variety, Miguel Arteta is directing the comedy, which has just begun shooting with Anne Heche also signed to appear. Helms will play an insurance salesman who goes to a convention in the titular town to try and save the jobs of his colleagues. Heche is a love interest, Weaver a former teacher while Reilly is thought to be playing a co-worker. Love Helms' work on both The US Office and The Hangover; he thoroughly deserves this bash at comedic leading man status. Reilly is also more than capable of bringing the funny, as anyone who has seen him in Talladega Nights will testify to. Here's hoping the script is worthy of Helms talent anyway.
