The link to Glasgow also provides new connections from Donegal on Loganair’s extensive network of UK and Highlands & Islands services, while their franchise agreement with Flybe also provides access to a wide range of connecting flights from Dublin and Glasgow through interline agreements with other airlines.
The inclusion of Donegal in the British Airways codeshare agreement through Dublin and Glasgow links the North West region on their worldwide network, as will the recently announcement new codeshare agreement with Aer Lingus which further enhances connectivity for Donegal and the region. The via Dublin connections is of particular interest to the London market and from 27th October 2014 a new link with London City Airport will commence with Flybe.
Donegal Airport is located at Carrickfinn, Kincasslagh on the west coast in the area of the Rosses/Gweedore. The airport is approximately 15 minutes drive from Dungloe and Gweedore, 40 minutes from Letterkenny and 1 hour from Donegal Town.
