Detached traditional seaside cottage in heart of village. Large back garden and off street ...

This cottage has been described by guests as a tardis as it has more accommodation than initially apparent, the upstairs bedrooms being unseen from the road. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with bathroom and separate shower room and a single and an ensuite double bedroom upstairs. The central location of the property allows easy access to beach, bar, restaurants and golf courses. The cottage is on the route of the Open Top Bus, which takes in all the sights of the Causeway Coast. It is situated close to the World Heritage Site of the Giant's Causeway, with its new visitor centre, which is easily accessible by car or on the Causeway Tram. The Bushmills Distillery is also close by as is Dunluce Castle, which featured along with Ballintoy Harbour in the popular TV series "Game of Thrones". Slightly further afield are the beaches of White Rocks and Portstewart Strand, beyond which sits Mussenden Temple. The temple was built on the edge of the precipice overlooking the sea and distant Donegal by Bishop Hervey. There is a well maintained garden at The Lion Gate into the estate and a well marked walk. The cottage is also central for all major golf courses in the area including Royal Portrush, Portstewart, Castlerock and Ballycastle. Bushfoot Golf Club, 5 minutes walk away, is the local course. Free WiFI, TV, Freeview and a DVD player are provided. Bed linen is also provided and normal usage electricity and oil are included in the price. Pets are welcome if well behaved and house trained. We do not permit smoking anywhere within the house. A welcome pack of tea, coffee, and milk will be in the cottage on arrival.
