St Ann’s Church was founded in Dublin City in 1707 and in 1868 a neo-Romanesque façade was added. The church has memorials dedicated to those lost in World War I and World War II.

Isaac Wills designed the Georgian interior of St Ann’s Church in Dublin, which includes stained glass windows dating from the mid-19th century and memorials to both World Wars.

Since 1723, the church has also kept a bread shelf, a tradition that exists to provide Dublin’s poor with food.

Over the years, many famous people have been associated with St Ann’s, including Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker and Theobald Wolfe Tone.
