When the sun does decide to shine in Ireland, there's nothing quite like an al fresco drink. Here, we list some of our favourite terraces and beer gardens around the country.
As the old saying goes, it'd be a lovely country if you cold only put a roof on it! Irish pubs are traditionally associated with roaring fires and shivering customers in Aran jumpers, but something happens when the sun comes out on a Friday evening, (or indeed any evening), and you're likely to see people spilling out the doors of their local.
Since the smoking ban was introduced in 2001, most pubs have been forced to provide some sort of outside option for drinkers, but some are simply head and shoulders above the rest.
We're sure that there are many, many more out there, so if you've got any other recommendations, please get in touch and let us know!
