How do I make use of RSS?
- To use RSS, you will need to obtain an RSS aggregator which allows you to collect and display feeds from your favourite websites in a single location on your computer.
How do I setup my aggregator to receive ireland.com RSS feeds?
- Setting up a feed differs from one aggregator to another and it usually involves copying the URL of the feed - which you can get from the address bar on your browser - and pasting it into a box which will be clearly signed-posted when you run the aggregator. Please consult your aggregator's help documentation for clarification.
What are the terms and conditions?
- The feeds are provided free of charge for use by individuals and non-profit organizations for personal, non-commercial use. Subscription is required to retrieve the full text of Premium Content articles on www.ireland.com. The Terms and Conditions are available by clicking here.
- ireland.com provide these feeds in RSS 1.0 (RDF Site Summary) format which utilises the World Wide Web Consortium's Resource Description Framework (RDF) standard which is built on XML technology. However our blog feeds use RSS 2.0 (Really Simple Syndication).
