The former Doobie Brother brings his iconic soul sounds to Dublin.
Iconic in every way, the five-time Grammy Award-winning chart-topper Michael McDonald has been the songwriting muscle behind some of contemporary music's most enduring hits.
A member of Steely Dan and, later, the Doobie Brothers, he's helped pen and release hits like Takin’ It To The Streets and What A Fool Believes, and, as a solo artist, has been responsible for the likes of I Keep Forgettin’ (Every Time You’re Near), Sweet Freedom and On My Own with the legendary Patti Labelle. A top-drawer collaborator, he's also performed alongside Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Joni Mitchell and many more.
As prolific as they come, McDonald is still releasing albums nearly 40 years into his career, and his latest, Wide Open, features a rake of special musical guests for what amounts to his first original release in 17 years.
Be there when the former Doobie Brother brings his iconic soul sounds to Dublin.
