Danish singer MØ mixes brash pop sounds with the confrontational elements of punk.
Danish electro-pop singer MØ made her name with her 2014 album, No Mythologies To Follow, which included collaborations with Major Lazer and led to her working with rapper Iggy Azalea on the smash Beg For It.
MØ's style mixes brash pop music – full of rippling synthetic basslines and crisp electronic rhythms – and the confrontational elements of punk. She draws inspiration from both the Spice Girls and rock icons like Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon and Siouxsie Sioux.
This show was rescheduled from last October. MØ decided to dedicate more time to finishing her soon-to-be-released second album, Kamikaze, which was made in collaboration with superstar producer Diplo.
Be sure to get a taste of the finished product when MØ’s brings her bona fide pop class to the Olympia’s stage.
