Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
This famous bridge swings 30m above the rocky North Antrim coast. The Atlantic Ocean boils and bubbles below, the wind gently sways the bridge, and views of Rathlin Island and Scotland’s sea cliffs call you across.
The bridge has been here for over 250 years and has adorned stamps, welcomed the Olympic Torch in 2012, and featured as a finalist in National Geographic photo competitions. With over 250,000 visitors a year, it’s a very popular attraction. Come and cross it yourself to see what all the fuss is about!
