Cycling or walking the Waterford Greenway enables you to take your time to experience truly being away from it all, as you travel along the 46km stretch of greenway from Waterford to Dungarvan with many areas of natural beauty.

Whether you pedal or walk or run the pathway, that was formerly used as an old railway line, you will be captivated by the many bridges, viaducts and the spectacular tunnel that you will encounter. Discover pretty picnic spots and hidden history and a beautiful garden. Soak up the stunning views before being rewarded with a panoramic view of Dungarvan bay and the glittering sea.

The Waterford greenway is made up of many sections, and can be completed in one day, also each section can be walk or cycled at any time, allowing the an opportunity to stop for refreshments and enjoy the views.
