Topiary, lawns, herbaceous and mixed plantings combine with architectural features and ornaments to provide an enchanting series of enclosures. A water garden extends into woodland planted with rare and tender trees and shrubs. The organic fruit and vegetable garden has been opened to the public this year
Originally started in 1947 these gardens host a wide selection of rare and tender trees and shrubs, with over 130 different species in the garden is a delight to both the keen amateur and the more serious horticulturist.
