Today, Ireland’s Jewish community has about 1,800 members, a grand part of them in Dublin. The orthodox synagogue is located in the city centre and holds services twice daily.
In the 1940s, about 5,500 Jews called Ireland home. That number has since decreased to 1,800, but the community continues to be active.
The orthodox synagogue in Dublin City Centre holds two services each day. Visitors should call for times.
