The Rivertown River is located just outside the village of Cloghan in County Westmeath. It is quite a difficult river to fish due to overgrown banks and poor access, however it holds a very good stock of fish up to 1¾lbs.
Fishing here is controlled by the Deel and Boyne Angling Association and the best time to fish on the river is from May to September.
