The River Flesk drains into Lough Leane at Killarney, County Kerry. It gets a run of spring salmon early in the season, and the grilse run in late May and early June.
The River Flesk is a 28 mile spate river which gets a good run of spring salmon and an excellent run of grisle. The first of these arrives late in May or early June, depending on the water. There is also good brown trout fishing at various points from Flesk Bridge down to the lake.
