Wonderfully positioned on the shores of Lough Ree and just a short distance from Athlone, County Westmeath, Lough Ree Haven comprises two four-star units. They are surrounded by activities and amenities for all ages, including excellent angling.

Uniquely situated on the shores of Lough Ree, Lough Ree Haven offers magnificent panoramic views of the lake and River Shannon. The property sits 5km from Athlone, County Westmeath and just 1.5km from the Hodson Bay Hotel and Athlone Golf Club.

Lough Ree Haven comprises two homes, each with its own private entrance. This house is warmly furnished, with a welcoming open fire, fitted kitchen and three spacious bedrooms. It includes a spacious living, kitchen and dining area, and is fully equipped with all modern conveniences, including barbecue and garden furniture, so guests can make the most of warm days.

There are three bedrooms, one on the ground floor with ensuite shower room and two upstairs with shower room. Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity is meter read.

Athlone is an ideal touring base due to its central location and easy accessibility. Visitors of Lough Ree Haven are ideally placed for enjoying the many restaurants, cafes and pubs the town has to offer, as well as the 10 golf clubs within a 32km radius of Athlone. Other local amenities include a water sports and adventure training centre, multi-screen cinema, bowling, swimming pool, pet farm, horse riding, children’s activity centres and the new town centre shopping complex.

Lough Ree, meanwhile, is a famous course angling lake that stretches 27km long and is the second largest lake on the River Shannon system. Often described as an inland sea, the lake has numerous bays and inlets that offer the course angler variety. Lough Ree Haven provides angling facilities.
