One of the regions most celebrated restaurants, Campagne located at Gashouse Lane, Kilkenny works with only the best suppliers to produce food that is stylish and described variously by critics as “gastronomic excellence” and “one of the most perfect dining experiences”.
Chef Garrett Byrne’s philosophy is to serve modern food using the finest Irish produce in a relaxed, contemporary setting with oak flooring, curved banquet style seating and bright modern colours. The modern interior features a modern interpretation of country life which was painted by Kilkenny artist Catherine Barron.
Campagne has won many awards and accolades over the years since the restaurant opened in 2008, including Best Leinster Restaurant for three years in a row. More recently, Garrett was awarded the Restaurants Association of Ireland’s Chef of the Year Award for 2012.
