Murphy’s Farmhouse is a family-run dairy farm set at the foot of the Slieve Mish Mountains, and renowned for a friendly welcome and excellent food. It is ideally located for touring The Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula.

All 10 rooms are en-suite.

Murphys Farmhouse is a sixth-generation family-run farm set at the foot of the Slieve Mish mountains in County Kerry. It is ideally located for touring the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula as the town of Castlemaine is the gateway to both areas.

Murphys Farmhouse is renowned for its' friendly welcome - On arrival guests are greeted with refreshments and home baking - and its' excellent food, providing an extensive range of breakfast choices to choose from.

All 10 rooms are en-suite, with tea and coffee-making facilities, electric blankets, TV and king size orthopaedic beds. There is complimentary WiFi in the public areas.

Murphys Farmhouse is located 150 metres from Boolteens village where guests may enjoy food and entertainment in Murphys Bar. Boolteens village is located two kilometres from Castlemaine.

There are a number of outdoor pursuits nearby, including the world-renowned golf courses of Killarney, Ballybunion, Barrow and Dooks. Murphys Farmhouse is ideally located for walking groups, and walking guides, transport, and packed lunches can also be arranged.

Inch Beach provides three miles of safe, sandy beach where one can enjoy a leisurely walk or, for the more active, surfing is very popular. Surfing equipment can be hired at the beach.

Kerry airport is seven miles away, with Shannon and Cork airports both approximately two hours drive. There is a train service to Farranfore, Tralee and Killarney train stations about seven miles from Murphys Farmhouse.
