Rose Cottage at Beaufort Lodge is set in a natural garden setting with a rich diversity of shrubs, trees and other plants. There is an unobstructed view across the green rolling hills to the mountain ranges of the Iveragh peninsula, in County Kerry.
The lovely Rose Cottage offers one large and one small bedroom with a fire place, which can accommodate a total of three adults, or two adults and two small children. It is located beside Beaufort Village in a beautiful natural garden adjacent to the Beaufort-Lodge B&B and family home, in County Kerry.
The cottage also boasts a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette for self-catering, a sitting area in the garden and a homely living room equipped with TV and radio. All rooms have central heating and there are two additional fire places. All rooms have antique pine flooring or natural slate surfaces. They are charmingly furnished with iron beds, oriental or woollen rugs and timber furniture part of it antique and handcrafted. Bed linen and towels are provided and will be replaced during the guests stay on request.
A fresh breakfast with many organic, local and homemade products can be booked additionally to the self catering cottage. The Cottage and B&B were presented with a Green Tourism Scheme Silver Award in 2010 and 2011 for their sustainability efforts.
The Cottage provides an attractive and comfortable holiday base from which to explore Killarney National Park, the Ring of Kerry, Dingle Peninsula and West Cork region. The area is a golfers, hikers and walkers paradise.
