Introducing you to Wild Rover Tours, we are a new day tour company based in Dawson Street, Dublin.

Stroll around Medieval Kilkenny City for 2½ hours visiting cathedrals, castles and galleries. Alternatively, combine a visit to Kilkenny City with a trip to the world famous Nicholas Mosse Pottery Mill, where you can watch pottery being hand crafted. Then we roam the Wicklow Mountains, capture breathtaking photos of its spectacular scenery. Explore the beauty of Glendalough's 6th Century monastic city, before returning to Dublin.
Wild Rover Tours offer the only tour to include all inclusive official guided tour of the Glendalough site with access to the heritage centre and to offer flexible return dates, (depart from Dublin today and return from Kilkenny tomorrow) or vice versa. Still see all the sights and split the tour into two half days. Also, only tour to offer complimentary fresh baking with hot refreshments and to have negotiated on behalf of our customers a special 20% discount card for top retailers in Kilkenny.
Dublin/Avoca Village/Glendalough: experience a unique combination of attractions and activities on this special day tour. We leave the city via the highlights of Dublin’s south coast. You choose your activities on the day. A gentle guided hill walk 1¼ hours through the Vale of Avoca or why not bake traditional Irish breads in a Victorian country farmhouse (1850). Witness craftsmen create a shillelagh/hurley at Fitzgerald’s Pub of “Ballykissangel” fame. We then visit the world famous Avoca Hand Weaver Mill (est. 1723) Ireland's oldest business. Onto the heritage site of Glendalough, a 6th Century monastic site which is a must see when in Ireland. Finally returning to Dublin over the Wicklow/Dublin mountains. Capture some of the region’s most breathtaking scenery. All of this in just one day!
