Dublin will be the epicentre of European club rugby when the Irish capital stages both the Heineken Cup and Amlin Challenge Cup finals in May 2013. The RDS will be the venue for the Amlin Challenge Cup final on Friday, 17 May, 2013 (kick off 8pm). The following day, fans will be able to congregate in the European Champions Village in Merrion Square from 12 noon, with the Heineken Cup Final kicking off in the nearby Aviva Stadium at 5pm. With the two finals being played in close proximity, up to 70,000 supporters will converge on the city to savour what has become an unmissable weekend festival of European club rugby. The European Champions Village in Merrion Square will serve as a focal point for travelling fans to congregate and celebrate their support for their teams, these tournaments and the sport in a unique way. Fans will have an opportunity to purchase official Heineken Cup, Dublin 2013 merchandise, there will be live music, big screens, players past and present will be there and you will have the opportunity to get your photo taken with the Heineken Cup.
