Ringsend Park is located at the mouth of Dublin Harbour, in Dublin City. It includes an athletics tracks, sports pitches, allotments and mature trees. Nearby is the Pigeonhouse power station with its landmark red and white chimneys
Located in the heart of Ringsend and Irishtown, in Dublin City, off Strand Street on 10.58 hectares, Ringsend Park comprises of grassed based soccer and GAA pitches, synthetic pitches, kick-about areas playgrounds and an athletics track. There are also a substantial number of mature and semi-mature deciduous and evergreen trees in the park.
The park has recently been redeveloped through a collaborative effort with support from local residents, community and sporting groups, Dublin City Council, Dublin Docklands Development Authority, An Garda Síochána and local public representatives. Ringsend Park has a range of facilities to cater for the passive and active recreational needs of the local community and visitors to the park.
