Filmbase is a support organization for independent film and video makers in Ireland providing Training & Development, Facilities Hire, Information Services, Awards, Representation & Lobbying for the low budget film sector. Filmbase also publishes Film Ireland magazine and runs Short Film Award Schemes as well as running a cafe at their Curved Street home in the heart of Temple Bar. The cafe is now open serving soup, sandwiches, buns and 'the best coffee in Dublin'. This provides an even better reason to come in and browse the notice boards to find out what's happening.
