Lough Neagh is the largest freshwater lake in the British Isles, covering an area of 153square miles. The fishing industry has always been very important although the Loughs western shoreline with eels and pollan frequently being exported to England and other EU countries.

Excellent stocks of Pollen, Perch, Bream, Roach, Rud, Pike and Salmon, and the Dollaghan.
Game season - March 1st to October 31st.
Requirements: A Fisherises Conservancy Board Rod Licence.
A permit is essential.
