Located on the main Ring of Kerry road, Wave Crest Caravan and Camping Park is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday in County Kerry. The four-star park is located near Caherdaniel and is within reach of many activities and attractions.

Located just outside Caherdaniel in County Kerry, Wave Crest Caravan and Camping Park commands unparalleled views of beaches, coves and the majestic mountains of the Beara Peninsula. The park is friendly, informal and family-run, making it the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday.

Wave Crest provides outstanding facilities for families, not to mention a strong emphasis on safety and security. There is on-site tourist information, a well-stocked shop with hot and cold Deli, and a café serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner (open June-August). There is a fully-equipped play area for children and direct access to the water for launching water sports equipment. Other facilities include laundry, TV room, games room, boating (launching and mooring), rib trips from Wave Crest, and fishing supplies.

Wave Crest Café is facing the sea. You can sit outside or inside and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, with a freshly baked scone, or a delicious pastry. Full Irish breakfast, lunch, or evening meal may be enjoyed while watching the forever-changing panoramic views of the Kenmare Bay and the Beara Peninsula. Keep an eye out between each bite; you might see dolphins or a basking shark.

In the vicinity of the park, guests will find the Blue Flag beach at Derrynane, as well as opportunities for swimming, scuba diving, surfing, canoeing, kayaking, water skiing, fishing, and horse riding. Additionally, the area’s major attractions include the UNESCO World Heritage site of Skellig Michael, Derrynane House and Gardens, and the Kerry Way.
