Donaghmore Famine Workhouse is just up the road. This really takes you back in time to our eerie past.
When staying you can play golf on any one of five course within 30 minutes drive, fish on our local rivers, or take a stroll in the lovely woodlands of Laois. An exciting new childrens' playground is now opened in Rathdowney.
