The Dublin Food Co-op holds weekly markets in a community centre where members can buy a range of wholefoods and ‘ecological’ products from the co-op. Producer members directly sell fresh or processed foods and crafts from stalls and pay a levy of 10% on all sales to the co-op. There are 1000 consumer members 20+ producer members. The co-op is also vegetarian, although some consumers buy meat directly from farmer members.
