Make it a New Year’s Day to remember by witnessing the Hook Lighthouse Arrow Ceremony, a centuries-old tradition taking place at the oldest working lighthouse in the world.

For this historic spectacle, professional and amateur archers from far and wide will converge on Hook Lighthouse for the arrow ceremony, a tradition dating back to 1687.

For the modern day arrow ceremony, you’ll witness an incredible sight as the Dunbrody Archers assist the Mayor of New Ross to cast his arrow into the sea.

Kick off 2018 in style and feel like you're a part of Irish history by checking out the amazing Arrow Ceremony at the 800 year old Hook Lighthouse.
