Tír na nÓg is a traditional Irish Pub and Restaurant it is named after the famous great heroes and poets of ancient Ireland. Conveniently located 30km outside of Galway City across from Aer Arann Airport, Tír na nÓg is situated in the heart of the Gaelic speaking area of Connemara.
Tír na nÓg Bar and Restaurant is the place where local residents and business people come to relax. The cosy, inviting atmosphere is the ideal place to sit back and enjoy a pint with an authentic hearty meal while listening to a live session or local band.
Whether you are pulling up a barstool and engaging in conversation by the fire with your friends, or pulling up a chair at a happy family gathering in the restaurant, or relaxing under the sun in the spacious beer garden watching the locals competing in the throwing of horse shoes or looking out at the Atlantic sea, Tír na nÓg has whatever is needed to make your visit a special one.
The surrounding area is rich in history and culture, with beautiful scenery and hidden beaches known to Tír na nÓg staff. Once inside the restaurant, you will be transported across miles of ocean, to a charming and inviting family setting.
The restaurant opens daily from 12pm serving fantastic food all day. We provide for a lingering lunch or meal in our new restaurant famed for its locally sourced fresh seafood and pints of Guinness. In November there is a local traditional music, song and dance competition.
Tír na nÓg offer a large car park suitable for coaches. Campers are welcomed to camp in the beer garden.
