An authentic Chinese restaurant, Da Tang Noodle House is located in Galway City. It was established in 1997 and continues to serve the great cuisine of Northern China as well as wine, beer, sake and tea.
Located in the centre of Galway City, Da Tang Noodle House was opened in February 1997 by Du Han Tuo and Catherine O'Brien. Du Han Tuo comes from Lanzhou in the North of China, Gansu Province.
Du Han Tuo came to Ireland in 1993, and his restaurant is recognised by many as one of the only authentic Chinese outlets in Ireland. Its mission is to make available the great flavours and variety of Northern Chinese foods.
Da Tang Noodle House's ambience and décor are based on Du Han Tuo's unique approach. His earlier study of art and his oriental background help create a space that is simple, relaxing and at the same time stimulating. In this warm, intimate environment, guests can sit and enjoy a bowl of steaming fresh noodles, dumplings, hot pot and more.
To accompany the food, the restaurant offers organic wine, Chinese beer, sake and Chinese teas.
