Derry City Council’s Heritage & Museum Service has amassed a collection of over 10,000 objects and archives which richly illustrate the unique heritage of the city which are on display in museums across the city.
A History of Derry in 100 Objects will tell the history of the city. The exhibition is an opportunity for people to select an object from the museum collection or donate an object to the museum collection which tells a story, significant to the city. A focus group and Museum staff will curate the final selection of objects which will be displayed at sites across the city.
