Cape Clear Island year round ferry service is operated by Cape Clear Ferry & Fastnet Service from Baltimore (all year round).

Cape Clear Island year round ferry service is operated by Cape Clear Ferry & Fastnet Service from Baltimore (all year round) & Schull ( summer season) to the enchanting Gaeltacht island of Cape Clear and Fastnet Rock Lighthouse (summer season) with our two, orange vessels, Dún an Óir & Dún Aengus. Full commentary is provided on selected sailings, bicycles are carried free and a reciprocal ticketing arrangement operates with our Schull Ferry Service during the summer months.

Short detours on scheduled sailings can be made when whales, dolphins or basking sharks are spotted.

On our Fastnet Rock Lighthouse tour, we offer only but the best views and photo opportunities of the famous 'Fastnet Rock Lighthouse'. 'An Carraig Aonair', is also commonly known as the 'Tear Drop of Ireland' as it was the last part of Irish soil seen by the immigrant ships as they sailed away from shore and disappeared over the horizon, bound for America, in years gone by.

From Baltimore, there are a minimum of 3 return sailings per day from April to September with two sailings most days the rest of the year.
Special discounts apply to groups (over 10), family rates are available.

(Sailings are weather permitted as it is our policy to always put passenger comfort first so that we can assure our clients of a pleasant trip.)
