A feast of traditional music, dance and storytelling over the five days of the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Abbeyfeale Fleadh by the Feale, now in its 20th year, offers a feast of traditional music, dance and storytelling over the five days of the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The festival features a host of entertainment with well-established art and busking competitions; a concert; and a Bone-playing Competition - an event unique to Abbeyfeale and a great attraction. Held outdoors on stage in the square, it has drawn competitors from America, Europe & England along with entries from all over Ireland. The event received favourable mention in American music magazines.

Abbeyfeale town and its environs offer those interested in walking or cycling a variety of opportunities with a town park, playground and a riverside walk. Come along to Abbeyfeale for a great festival weekend and plenty to see and do for all.
