Dublin Fringe Festival is Ireland's leading multidisciplinary arts festival featuring new and next in performance, music, theatre, live art, comedy, dance, circus and visual art from Irish and international artists.
Celebrating 23 years as Ireland’s leading multidisciplinary arts festival, the 2017 Dublin Fringe Festival features the freshest new theatre, music, live art, comedy, dance and spectacle from Irish and international artists.
This September the city will be transformed with more than 400 events taking place in over 30 venues including various buildings and outdoor spaces.
Dublin Fringe Festival, unlike many Fringes internationally, is a wholly curated festival seeking innovative and daring work that impacts, moves and invigorates. It is a platform for new, emerging Irish arts companies and a showcase for the best contemporary theatre and dance shows touring internationally. For artists, the Fringe facilitates an opportunity to innovate, to cross disciplines and boundaries and to find new ways and places to create.
Participants in previous Fringes include Cillian Murphy, David O'Doherty, ANU Productions, THISISPOPBABY, Maeve Higgins, Camille O'Sullivan, Mary Coughlan, Elbow, CoisCéim and Macnas.
