Core Crafted Design is located in Ballinahown Village, an award winning village in County Westmeath. The outlet offers a choice of crafts from over 40 makers throughout Westmeath and Offaly.

Based in the tranquil village of Ballinahown, County Westmeath, Core Crafted Design is situated near the ancient monastic college of Clonmacnoise. Core Crafted Design is housed in an old schoolhouse where the original style of the building merges easily with the contemporary design of the new outlet to create an apt showcase for the largest selection of craft designers, artists and creatives in the midlands.

The outlet is spearheading the growth of craft and design in the area, by facilitating makers in showcasing their designs while also arranging demonstrations and craft classes for those interested in exploring their creative talents.

An extensive range of locally produced crafts, including ceramics, jewellery, paintings, glasswork, paper, woodwork, textiles, and metalwork is on offer. The aroma of freshly ground coffee and the temptation of locally baked artisan food from the Core café is also on hand to provide respite after an afternoon's browsing.

Core Crafted Design caters to all markets including corporate and general gifts as well as wedding gifts. Specially commissioned pieces can also be created by one of the many talented craftspeople.

List of makers includes Richard Parish, Linda Wharton, Metal Mayhem, Heartworks, Ann Marie Griffin, Kieran Brannan, Edwin Mc Cullagh, Bramber Studios, Hilde Kiernan, Clair and Meave O'Neill, Karl Gill, Kerri Franklin, Rosemary Langtry, Claire Delabre, Linda Kelly, Philip Brady, Bernadine Moran, Ann Mc Guinness, Phyl Staunton, Geraldine Kretsch, Pat Flanagan, Clonmacnoise Pottery, Catole Quinlan, Mandy Mc Ananey, Ballyshiel Artisan Foods, Duffy and Scott, Stephen Mitchell, Niall Masterson and Brian Murray, Ann Schnittger, Don O'Boyle, Celtic Roots Studio, Padraig Larkin, John Coady, Dizzy Dolls and more.
