Mary and Jim welcome you to enjoy the stunning scenery from Kerry Mountains to the Wild Atlantic Ocean. Boat trips to Skelling Rocks arranged and extensive breakfast menu.

Shealane Country House is ideally located on the Wild Atlantic Way Route.

Stunning scenery from the Kerry Mouintains to the wild Atlantic Ocean, surround Shealane Country House on Valentia Island, within walking distance of Portmagee village on the mainland, the main departure point for the boat trip to the world famous Skellig Rocks, now an UNESCO heritage site. Boat trips organised for our guests and all other activities on the island and the surrounding area. We endeavour to inform all our guests of all there is to do and see.

Our rooms are all individually decorated, with some finished in pine cladding to add to the ambience. All rooms are en-suite with tea/coffee facilities, c.d/clock radio and king size beds. Satellite TV and lounge with many books of interest.

We, Mary and Jim, are very proud of our breakfast menu and we offer an extensive choice of cereals, yogarts, fresh fruit salad and Irish porridge with local honey. Also Shealane toasties, pigs in blankets, French toast with Irish bacon, just to mention a few, all served with freshly brewed filter coffee, Barrys Irish tea, selection of herbal and fruit teas, plus Mary's homemade brown bread. All served in our conservatory with its fantastic views.

Shealane Country House is ideally located on the Wild Atlantic Way Route.
