Roundstone House Hotel is a small, family-run hotel, situated overlooking Roundstone Bay and the Twelve Bens Mountain Range in County Galway. The hotel is known for its friendly service and excellent restaurant, awarded two AA Rosettes.

Situated in Roundstone, County Galway, Roundstone House Hotel is a lovely, family-run hotel that has been in existence for more than 100 years. The hotel is known for its welcoming atmosphere and home-from-home experience that begins the minute guests step inside the door. It has all the character and ambiance of a small hotel, from open turf fires to the smell of freshly baked brown bread wafting from the kitchen.

At Roundstone House Hotel, visitors will find 12 bedrooms, including single, double and family rooms. Most feature breath-taking views of the bay or gardens, while all include TV, phone, hairdryer, toiletries, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Rates also include a home-cooked breakfast in the hotel’s dining room. For dinner, guests won’t want to miss Vaughan’s Restaurant, which is credited with two Rosettes from the AA and is a member of the prestigious BIM seafood circle and Georgina Campbell Guide. The chefs use the best in local and in-season ingredients for their delectable menu in the restaurant and bar. Highlights include pan fried Roundstone Bay scallops and Connemara lamb. The bar, meanwhile, is an excellent option for casual dining with its fantastic menu and big open fire.

Whether looking for a relaxing break, romantic getaway or active holiday, travellers will find it all in Roundstone and its surrounding area. The nearby sandy beaches are perfect for a relaxing stroll, kite surfing and wind surfing. There are also boat trips, golf courses and walking routes available.
