1 Accommodation, 4 Things to do
Perched 90m above the Atlantic Ocean, Loop Head lighthouse in west Clare has stood guard over this spectacular promontory for over 340 years.
The Loophead Summer Hedge School is based on the remote rugged headland of the Loophead Peninsula, and offers environmental and creative experiential leisure learning outdoor activities, indoor workshops and slide shows.
Located on the north side of the Loop Head Peninsula, the Bridges of Ross is an internationally renowned seabird-watching site.
Loop Head is one of the most remote and wonderful places in Ireland. It remains a place to itself, protecting the waters of the Shannon estuary from the open ocean.
Enjoy warm and friendly hospitality shared by Teresa and Ian in their tastefully refurbished old National School (c1893). Situated in the village of Cross on the Loophead peninsula we offer two double and one family(double and single) bedrooms.
