Maire Rua is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Kilfenora, which is also known as the 'City of the Seven Crosses'. It is a must for all visitors wishing to explore the wild and magnificent Burren region of County Clare.

Maire Rua is a modern, spacious self-catering apartment, ideal for families or large groups, with home-grown hospitality and a wealth of activities available. Facilities include large refrigerator/freezer, oven/cooker, iron, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, TV, two showers, bath and three toilets.

The apartment is finished to the highest standard, with oak-wood flooring throughout the main dining room, hall and living areas. Rooms include kitchen, dining room, living room, hall, bathroom and hot press. Bedrooms include two doubles with ensuite, one double and one single. There are two cots available. The total sleeping capacity is seven adults/children plus two infants.

Kilfenora is centrally located in the Burren with easy access to the wild scenic beauty of North County Clare. The craic is mighty, with events like the Father Ted Festival in mid-February, and great music and dancing sessions all year round. Golfing is a particular speciality in County Clare and Maire Rua is ideally positioned for a tour of the country’s top golfing destinations. The world-famous Cliffs of Moher are also nearby. Maire Rua has ample parking and provides quiet relaxation after a long day spent hiking, biking, swimming with dolphins or simply cruising around the twisty roads of County Clare.
