In Belturbet, one of Cavan's most attractive and historic towns on the River Erne, is the restored Great Northern Railway cutstone railway station displaying an interesting exhibition on railway history.

The Belturbet Station in Belturbet County Cavan on the River Erne, is the scene of the old Great Northern Railway cut stone railway station. Built in 1885, it has been fully restored and now houses an interesting exhibition telling the story of the railway age in Cavan.

Other facilities include conference facilities for 120 people and superior self catering accommodation. Local community events take place at Belturbet Station throughout the year.
