The 17th century Huntington Castle, the backdrop for a number of feature films, was an early O’Kavanagh stronghold. The famed Yew tree walk, lime tree avenue and water features, are just some of the features of the castle’s delightful gardens and pleasure grounds, set in Clonegal, Co. Carlow.

St Fiaac’s Church is situated on a mound overlooking the picturesque village of Clonegal in County Carlow. The present Anglican church was constructed in the Gothic style in 1819 on the site of an earlier house of worship.
Sha Roe Bistro located in the scenic village of Clonegal is a popular dining experience for food enthusiasts.
Clonegal is the starting point of the 7km Slí na Sláinte walk.
